About

My journey: from my mother’s garden to Michelin star kitchens

Ever since I was little, I dreamed of becoming a chef. I’d spend hours in my mother’s garden, experimenting with fresh ingredients, or helping my father perfect his signature pasta. At a young age, I started working in small kitchens, and by fifteen, I filmed my very first Jules Cooking video. That same year, I had my first taste of Michelin-starred dining with a short internship at Oud Sluis – at the time, the best restaurant in the Netherlands, proudly holding three Michelin stars. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to cook for the rest of my life.

Over the years, I’ve worked at high-end restaurants like Ron Blaauw**, Moon, Drac*, La Rive*, and De Bokkedoorns**. I learned a great deal along the way, and now I’m excited to share that experience with you. I have a passion for pastries and classic French techniques, so you’ll find plenty of fine dining dishes and other creative recipes here.

My hope is that each recipe will spark your curiosity, encourage you to experiment, and hopefully inspire your own culinary adventures. Let’s keep exploring new flavors and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the kitchen, together.
